| Anyone ever tried this?!?
I'm wiring up my new super build. I will be running duel steering servos up front and one in the rear off a servo reverser. Duel ESC's. A Novak Dig. Two BEC's. Two lipos. Two 55t motors. And i'm doing it all off of a DX3R! I sat down last night and put it all on paper. I can do it it's just a lot of wiring! And to do it all off a DX3R looks crazy but will work! 2x 11.1v Lipos 2x Mamba Max ESC 3x HiTec 7954SH Servos 2x Castel BEC's 1x Novak Dig 1x Spektrum RX 1x Servo reverser 2x 55t motors DX3R My brain is about to explode!!!!! |

So a three way servo splitter with a servo reverser on ch 1, dig/esc's ch 2/3, one bec for each front servo, one esc powering rx, one esc powering rear servo? Sounds like it should work in my head...

Both front servos wired together powered off one BEC with the signal wire going to one lead off the servo reverser. Rear servo powered off the other BEC and that signal wire going to the other lead of the servo reverser. Both ESC's wire into the Novak dig unit. The dig wires into the throttle and aux in the RX. The servo reverser wires into the steering on the RX. The servo reverser gets power via the RX from the dig unit. |

You could use on CC BEC pro instead of two regular units. With the dual front steering, get the Hitec HPP 21+ programmer so you can program both the servo's deadband, epa's, etc, together. Otherwise they will fight each other and cause grief. |

So are you just going to have 4WS, no crab, or independent control of the rear? As much as I love castle, their BEC isn't the strongest in the world. I would heavily consider their bigger one. With 2 on the front, which is a huge pain in the ass to steer in the first place, you want something that can handle the current, and I guarantee, the little BEC will be hurting and get weak after a while How does the Novak unit work? Is it like a punk? |
