|  External BEC do i need
My Mamba Max Pro will only turn my wheels once or twice before the green light (on my receiver) will go out and i will have nothing for 5 secs. then comes back on. I'm running spektrum DX3.0. Everything worked great when i had the stock ESC in. Does this mean i need an external bec and if so what kind.I have only heard of this happening to people when they put a bind on the wheels. My tires are off the ground

Most likely, the mmp bec can't keep up with a 300+ozin servo in crawling. I had to run a rx cap(could of used a bec) on my 4wd sct with an mmp to keep it from shutting down. An external bec is always a good idea in any crawler(might not be needed with holmes esc's). |
