Default Futaba 3PM punk dig settings help

I have a Futaba 3pm I know it can be set up to run dig but not sure how. Please post up some settings to help me out I don't want to burn anything up playing around with it to much. I have seen some settings for a servo dig setup but nothing with the punk dig. Thanks

My super was easy to set up on the stick controller I have for it and it has 4 wheel steer and a servo dig setup. I can set the bully up on the stick no problem but want to go with a pistol grip cause my kid will be playing with it some trying to get use to a little bigger rig tthan a mini losi. Thanks

Would a 2-position to 3-position converter help? I am trying to judge the need for such an adapter at the following link. Please vote or leave any comments or suggestions.

You could always change over to the 3PM-X radio which would make it easy for you.... That is more or less what I did.

I hear ya can get 3 positions out of a 3pm but it must take an engineering degree and two+ switch movements because I could never get my 3pm to do it.

I just got the radio the 3pm the other day because I was told it would do everything I needed it to do. I just didn't know it was going to be such a pain.

Someone didn't give you very good advice The 3PMx was the radio they should have suggested to you.

I will try to make it work for now I guess. I have seen a few people using the 3pm for dig just don't know how they did it. Might be up for sale in the future. I will just keep an eye out for a 3pm-x in the for sale section at a good price. I guess you live and learn.

That sucks. Sounds like someone just wanted to sell you a radio and take your money.

No i did not just sell him something to get rid of it. The 3pm is actually easy to setup for a 3 position setup.

Like i said use the first model memory and change the settings from there.

it is setup for dig just have to adjust the setpoints to make it all work.

It takes some time to setup but will work flawless once set.

It was easier to setup the punk dig to it than the micro switches i was using on my kk berg.

And how it works is threw the condition 2 switch and the 3rd channel switch on the handle. Simple and easy. Have used it for 2 years without any problems.

Thanks for saying something I was starting to get worried I had wasted money on it. I knew you said it would do dig and that you had it setup to do it with a servo dig setup.

Like I told you I had setup on the punk unit it worked great. The problem with forums is everybody knows everything. Yet don't know much.

Like saying someone just wanted to sell you something. For one I have sold more rc stuff in my time I don't make bad deals. It worked for me it will work for you.

It CAN work but it's just not really the best radio for the job as it takes a work around to get it to work correctly. I've had a little expierence with the Futaba radios.

No need to get defensive.

Perhaps craddock35 you could have stated that be bought a radio already set up to work with a dig servo set up and if a punk dig would work in its place.

I guess I should have stated that but I was just asking for some settings from somebody that was running one using punk dig. I didn't think anything about getting something started by asking for settings.
