Default CC External BEC

i need an external BEC should i get castles regular 10 amp, or there pro version? im running 3s lipo on Mamba max pro with spektrum DX3.0. All i have is the stock axial servo for the mean time but i plan on buying a good hitec or JR when i go to the hobby store to pick up my BEC. any input on a good high torque servo i would appreciate as well.

No it shouldnt be a problem because i belive the the bec will only supply the volts that you set it to. But if im wrong go ahead and correct me.

Will not be a problem

What they mean is that you can run the servo off a 2s pack instead of a bec...which is 8.4v when fully charged.

A bec just regulates the power going from the battery to your rx or servo depending on how its wired in.
