|  Brood or HH?
I can't decide between a Brood creep R/T 35t and a HH Torque Master Pro 35t. It will go in my scaler, I am running a HH Torque Master ESC. I know I can't go wrong with either one as they are both very good motors and I know it's a lot to ask because both company's are very respected. Please help me decide. Is one better than the other? Should I just flip a coin? |

I like Team Broods 4 magnet motors. The low end is super smooth. I have run Team Brood motors for the last 3 months and absolutely love them. You have all the power you can handle and EddieO will send you the motors set for an MOA, if that is what you run, one with forward rotation and one reverse rotation. He does all his winding and building of motors in house which is a plus. If you want something specific you can contact him by PM on here and he will set you up with what you need. flip a coin  I have both holmes and brood motors. they are both the highest quality, you cant go wrong with either as far as performance or customer service. |

Yes, both are top level motors. But realize that while both offer different wind options, Br00d has slightly different builds available. Different commutator sizes, brush orientation (Holmes does also), and magnet count. And maybe brushes and springs... so slightly different flavors of a particular type of motor. Either way though, you can flip a coin and get the best. |

Either motor is good and I doubt you would regret buying either one. I have run Holmes 540 motors for the past 2 years and can tell you that I have had no problems with them. I have a 35T Handwound that has been passed around from comp rigs to scalers and I absolutely love the torque and speed of it. Holmes Hobbies motors are top quality and so is the service. I just ordered up a HH handwound pro 25T, do the same and you may be as cool as me  To be honest I do not think I have heard one bad comment about HH motors. |

Umm yeah....I guess its talk crap day about brood for some... First, I own quite a few crawlers. I bought a tuber online in 2006, followed by a Gmade. I was one of the very first Hobbyshops in the USA to carry RC4wd stuff. Right now I have a Losi....don't get to run it much, but its fun. I also have in progress a berg and super. I have an XR10 on order. I don't get much time to play with my crawlers, as I am busy building motors and taking care of 4 kids... We have been winding and selling crawler motors since 2005.....thats 5 years for slow people who can't count. A lot of the companies selling crawler motors were buying them from us and relabeling them as their own, some still do. We've had crawler motors on our website since 2006..... So please, in the future, know what you are talking about before spouting your mouth. That being said, either or is a quality motor.....my advice, stick with handwound stuff and stay away from the machine wound crap.... Later EddieO |

As was mentioned earlier, both motors are very good. Both use excellent materials and are built by people who know what they are doing. However if you are looking for an unfair advantage, Br00d has it. I've run lots of motors, and the Br00ds have the smoothest start up and a blistering top end. The only thing I need now is more traction. Jumping the truck with these motors is an act of throttle control, if you grab all of the throttle, you'll just sit and spin tires |

Brood. Even if he didn't have a crawler, he KNOWS motors. I like to go to the source when I can, and avoid the middle man. Both are good motors tho. Good luck
