I have heard that it is a Futaba servo, and you can estimate that it is running around 100 ounce inches. I personally started with an upgrade to the HS-5645 digital servo. The cost was not too bad, and it is digital. Also, with a smaller servo like this, a BEC is not really needed.

For about 20 dollars more, you can get a steel geared HS-7954. This has lots of torque, but will need a BEC for sure.
