Possibly a 45t and drop a tooth or two on the pinion? A hand wound motor would perform better also. Or go 3s and turn down your thr epa if you want to keep your wheelspeed down? The axial I have setup for my brother is on 3s with a 55t and will snap the outdrives off...but it needs more wheelspeed. Going to try a 45t in it next. I'm also in surprise if you need any other help or want to join us in gtg's |

I say 3s and 15t pinion. It would be a great compromise and you would gain both torque and power.

So sad, the rooster doesn't support 3s. |

I'll back JRH on this one. If your Rooster is no longer under warranty, go 3S. It can handle it. Don't forget to gear down though. Cheers. |

| If you are happy with your setup but just want more torque a Holmes Hobbies Handwound 55T will be a noticable improvement over that machine wound Novak motor.
