Default Looking at Lipo battery and charger

As my title says I am looking at gettting a charger and battery for my 2 SCX10. I run Tekin FXR in both of them and a Tekin 35 HW in one and a 30 HH HW in the other. From what I have read I will want to get 3s and if I want that I need to get BEC's for them. I have about 200 bucks to spend and since I have 2 trucks I need 2 BEC and 2 batterys. I work right beside a hobby store and man its taken a lot of money since he is so close. The questions I want yalls opinon on is he sells dynamite chargers and a few different batterys. He has a lipo dynamite passport charger/balancer 6S charger for $64 bucks and from what I have heard thunder power is a good battery and I can get 3s 30c 1800mah for $50. I want something good and want to only buy these things once. Is this a good choice? Thanks

Here is the charger that I have used for quite a few years now:

And I have used the Thunder Power packs in the past with good results:

Jason has also been selling his own line of lipos (under the Krawler Hobbies name). I've been using these recently and am quite happy with them.

Yeah I have seen a lot of people use that charger and wish I could get it but he doesn't sell that brand. I understand that I could order it from a number of vendors on this site and I have gotten stuff from these people before and they are really good. I want to support him too and I don't have to pay shipping through him so I can save money. His prices on the batterys seem good and I save not having to pay shipping. So I guess my real question is if this charger is good. I am new to this stuff and have been doing a lot of reading on here and I heard you don't want to go cheap on the charger and from what my LHS says this one is good but I want to hear from you guys as well.

The benefit of ordering online is that you don't pay taxes. And, last I checked, Jason was offering free shipping on that charger....but you'd need to check with him about that.

I am interested in his 3s, but I have a question. What does it mean when its a 30C/60C, what is the /60C? Sorry just not familiar with that, I just want the 30C.

Most lipos will list a Continuous output and Burst output rate. That is what he is listing....

no real opinion on the bat and charger, but I aplaud your support for your local hobby store! I order as much as I can online to save money, but supporting the local guys is uber important IMO!
