Default How Long Does a Typical Brushed Motor Last?

I have an Integy 55T single in my AX10 comp rig with stock 14/87 gearing on 3S. However the past couple of packs the motor has been making a sparking electric sound coming from the can.

It has probably seen aound 20 1300mah 3S lipo packs. Is it about toast or could it be an internal gear sound coming from the tranny?

It depends on how dirty it gets, how hard you run it, and an almost seemingly random factor. I have had 55t on 3s last for years of crawling. I have also had them burn up in 10 runs.

Cut the com, get new brushes, you should be good to go. Your timing may also need checking.
