Default loosing throttle

I have a mamba max pro, external BEC (factory setting volts, stock axial servo (RTC kit), and a DX3 with that said my question is. ill be crawling for 10 mins and then all of a sudden ill lose forward and reverse but still have steering ill pick it up and everything works. sit it down again and with 30 secs or min same thing and im not always in a bind or hard spot when it cuts out. should i turn the BEC up i just wasnt sure if the stock servo could handle it i have a 7954sh on the way

Im not totally familiar with your esc in particular but I would say recalibrate and see if that helps. Whats your battery voltage when this is happening?
