Default battery size for AX10 and SCX 10

This may seem like a dumb question to some but I'm new to all this so ...I have an Axial AX-10 and an Axial SCX10...can I use an 8.4V 7 cell NIMH battery in these....I currently use a 7.2V 6 cell NIMH. I use the 8.4V in my Blitz.
Thanks

Default

It will fit if you are still using the stock battery plate on your AX-10, but it will make your rig even more top heavy. If you get a saddle pack, you can run an 8 cell if you want. Check out. www.cheapbatterypacks.com
