Default Traxxas 2ch radio help

i need some help with my radio the only way i can get a good connection is when i hold my controler close to my rig.batteries are new and charged up what could be the problem????

How is your antenna routed? Is it stock length or has it been cut?

What kind of motor and battery are you using?

Are your crystals the same color/number/frequency? Is this a new issue for you (did it used to work?)

yes it been cut esc:Novak XRS battery:4500 not sure what brand

my crystals are the same and yes it used to work
