Default mamba max & tekin problem?

i have been running the mamba max and tekin sensored
motor in my lcc and i just noticed it but on a steep climb if i stop and try to go again i will have to pull the trigger 3/4 the way to full before it will start going any thing less will make the motor squeal really high pitched. its kinda a pain cause i cant slowly take off and most the time makes the front end come up and over. is there any thing i can do about it this is my first bl system in a crawler so im a noob in this area

Are you running the Mamba Max or Mamba Max Pro? if your running the mamba max its not designed for sensored and will have issues with a sensored motor.

Its the mamba max pro sorry about not specifying. I just installed the newest firmware about five days ago and seemed to make it worst. I can't remember what pinion I'm running off the top of my head, I don't think its too tall cause after its rolling its nice and slow and has tons of torque on a 2s

I run a 21.5 tekin with a 14mm rotor and a 14t. The firmware helped me mostly, I was able to put a larger pinion on. When I went to a 4s it helped quite a bit too. I've messed with the start power but that didn't seem to make much differance, I have it set at high right now. I have mine set on sensor only mode and I just started playing with the cheat mode. Crazy fast, I don't think even the bergs I run with could keep up! I guess what I'm saying is check all the esc setting, gear down ang see what you get.

Ok ill just have to start playing with stuff I've got the 17t and have good wheel speed and torque. Just figured id ask to see if anyone else has had this and if they have been able to eliminate it or if I just have to get comfertable with it. Thanks
