| Creeper run time vs AX-10 run time
The Creepers transmission appears to be more complicated than AX-10s, it might have more internal friction. Anybody know if this is true and if it results in lower run times? Run time is important in my crawler fun since the same vehicle does both crawling and trail driving. Easy battery changing is also important. Are motor changes as easy on the Creeper as on the AX-10? Thanks. |

I don't know the Axial in detail, but the gears in the Creeper have very little friction so that shouldn't effect your run time. A way to get more run time is to run the Creeper with diffs open most of the time and lock them remotely only when needed. The motor in the Creeper is difficult to change since the motor screws are deep inside the gearbox. Removing the battery tray would help with access. Richard |
