| KO Eurus for dual ESCs
I've watched Harley's video on how to setup the Futaba 4PK for a 2.2 rig a few times now and it seems that radio has a few features on top of having 4 channels and mixing (being able to assign channels to program mixes, plus that dial setup to slow down 1 channel/program mix). I'll probably end up with a Futaba 4PK when I get my XR-10 but would just like to know first if anyone has had any luck doing something similar (dual escs with a variable speed rear throttle) with a KO Eurus? The reason I'm asking is because I have KO receivers in all my cars at the moment and the Eurus is compatible with them. (Running an EX-5UR at the moment). 2nd question I have is: If I had to choose between having a 5-speed rear axle but no dig and full-speed rear axle but with front and rear dig, which should I go for? (The EX5UR has 5 position 3rd channel, so I'm thinking its possible to set it up with a Novak The Dig + 2 ESCs). Thanks a bunch. |

I have read through the KO manual and do not see any way to do the mixing like the 4PK. One of my sponsors was getting the radio and he wanted me to see what I thought. Also, I do not believe the 5 position switch will allow you to do 5 speeds for the rear axle. It's not a question of how many positions the channel can be set at it is the ability to very a mix percentage on the fly that is also mixed with another channel. I do not believe the KO is capable of this. |

Tried to read a bit about the 4PK Super but didnt get much info on what the new features are. If they are not crawling-related, I'll just get the old one ;)
