Default Is It Possible?

MOA w/ 2 ESC's & 2 Servos - actual motors, esc's and servos not important.

Multiple channel stick radio - actual number of channels & radio needs to be determined.

Here is how I would like everything to be set up:
  • front steering only (rear locked)
  • rear steering only (front locked out)
  • front and rear steering mixed (one stick movement)
  • front and rear steering independent (left stick - front / right stick - rear)
  • front and rear motors mixed (one stick moment for equal speeds)
  • front and rear motos independent (left stick - front / right stick - rear) - if the left stick was all the way up, the front motor would be at full speed. and if the right stick was centered, the rear motor would be locked.
  • extra channel for winch / lights / etc. optional
The radio would need to have some type of "if channel x is engaged, channel y is ignored" to save the esc's & servos from being confused because of the Y cables from the receiver to each esc & servo.

It is more than possible! It is how most everyone runs a super. I'm even gonna run my run my cliff climber like that. The dx6/dx6i and 6ex are the radios of choice.

You simply cannot use 'Y' cables when you do this set-up. Each ESC and each servo must have a seperate channel from the reciever.

I use an 8ch. heli radio, got programmable mixes built in, anything is possible.

Cheers.

I was just reading Digital Crawling – Spektrum DX6 Setup and that clairified a few things.

I'm used to my Futaba 3PKS and 4EXA (for Tamiya Semi & Hi Lift w/ MFU). Independant steering & dual esc's never came up before.
