thanks guys, based on the lack of replys/obviosly no one uses this ezrun setup, I picked up the CC sidewinder for $60. so I guess, thanks RCCrawler!

I may order it down the road one day for a basher/scaler build I have in mind. then I can be the first to review it on here.

I have one in my cc01. It's no good for a crawled though, lots of cogging and not much torque but it works well for a scaler/trail truck. Long runtimes and cool runnings.

Perfect. Thanks for the reply. I'll likely get one for my scale build

i think for either a scaler or crawler a sidewinder with a good brushed motor would be tons better than that ezrun combo anyday

There was a guy on here who ordered that ezrun combo, and raged about how it sucked. The motor they use there is not really a 540 size motor, but just a small brushless in a big aluminum case.

Your choice on getting that Sidewinder is good. You can run sensorless brushless motor on it too.

I have the sidewinder mounted up, and hooked up to an integy 55t motor, i'm looking into a HH or tekin handwound motor for it.

I think I got a whicked deal, the sidewinder was still in the box, manual was there and everything, (the ESC itself even looks brand new) and I already had a castle link from my brothers old sidewinder.
