I learned the hard way after buying multiple radios - "if I get this I won't need anything else" - there will be a need for something else that needs that extra channel. Right now I am getting into rock crawling and I am getting a 7 channel radio for it (the radio can be carried over to flying if I ever decide to go that route). What would be great is if the radio makers stepped up and made a 6+ channel pistol radio... |

I think if they are going to do 4 they might as well do 5 or 6. They have the means, I think they just need the demand. I would buy a spektrum 5 or 6 channel pistol grip in a heart beat. |

Lemme count: Front steer, throttle, dig, rear steer, front cutting brakes, rear cutting brakes, winch down. Ok, make mine a DX7R. |

If they are going to bother, it should be 5 channels +. Then they would have something. But I think A 6PK would be better.

I liked my dx3r, but needed the 4th channel for my super. Its the mixing that puts the futaba ahead. I have heard there are other companies working on radios. I would say the least should be 5 channels, but 6 would be even better. With all the mixing options of a 4pk, and it could run droid like my HTC Evo with a touch screen, and built in wifi so it could be programed with a laptop. That would be the ultimate radio. | |

its a shame... i would love my dx3r to be a dx4r. tried a 4pk, sweet radio but it lacks the one thing i want which is momentary buttons. gradually converting over to flysky... |

Yes. If it would do the proper mixing for dual ESC's. The comfort of the DX3R is unmatched. |
