Default DX3.0 and dig

i can set up a dig unit on my ax10 with a spektrum dx3.0 correct? i have a third aux channel

Yes that's what I run with my R2D tranny, but it's only a 2 position third channel. If you have the radio and want to run it go for it but there is better options out there that are comparitivley priced.

You will only get rear lock and 4wheel drive...
ran mine like that for awhile.....

what do i need to do to get rear locked, 4x4 and rears to free spin? can a toggle switch or something work?

Your dx3.0 has 2 postions available on the 3rd channel. This may be enough for you if you don't want freewheel. If you want to use it with 3 postions, I would suggest one of my 2-position to 3-True-Position adapters. Let me know if you have any questions.
