| mamba max pro no drag brake in reverse HELP!!
As the title states, I have no drag brake in reverse on my Gmade R1. I just installed new Mamba Max Pro speed control and a Holmes Hobbies 35t brushed motor. I don't know if its the speed control or the motor as both are new. I think its the motor. When going forward the motor is very smooth and forward drag brake is solid. When going in reverse it sounds like the motor is clicking and no drag brake. I left the motor at factory settings with zero timing. Is that the problem? I also noticed that the Mamba Max Pro fan is turning on and I have only test ran this in my garage and run it only a couple of feet. The speed control does not feel hot. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Sounds like the ESC to me. Did you set it to brushed? |

I was told my sidewinder was shot when it did the exact same thing. I set all the settings to default, then reprogrammed it to my settings. All has been well for two months now. Give it a shot.
