Default 3racing Winch only works one way

So after the last run it worked fine. Today I go to run the scaler and the winch will only work one way. Also the manual button was only working one way and now after tinkin with it, it's not working at all. The Aux on my radio still works it. If I bypass the circuit board and go directly to the battery it works both way by reversing the wires and if I go to the receiver wire it also works both ways again by reversing the wires. My guess is that the circuit board must be fried. I can't see any damage but i'm no electronics wizard. So before I order a new winch I just wanted to post up my issue and see if anyone knows of a fix or something I can try first.

thanks for reading and for any help offered.

Hey Mods, can you move this to the scaler section somewhere, maybe it'll get more action there. Thank-You

Sounds like your winch controller is bad. Looks for the simple fix first like a loose wire you can resolder. Or you can pull the board out of a old servo and use that.

This happened on two of mine and it was a bad board both times.

I'd be interested to see a servo board used, so if you do that ... post up pics.

me to on wanting to see how you did the servo fix. My winch is doing the same thing and I really don't want to have to go buy a new winch.
