anyone useing an m11 w/dhss??

I sold my old dhss module and rx to a friend. this system is not in a crawler but in a electric lsi buggy. He says the car drives for about 10 seconds and the module comes unbound. I used this system in a nitro truggy up until this past winter and had no issues. I never used it in an electric vehicle, has anyone had this problem?? any help is appreciated
