Default Tamiya MFC-02

This is for all you Tamiya buffs out there. I have a Tundra HL with the MFC-02 and it always cuts out when I am on a very steep climb or gets in some sort of bind. I still have steering and shift control just the vibration/sound stops and the throttle/reverse stops. I have to turn it off and back on to regain full function.

I know the binds it gets into it can easily power through without breaking anything. What is going on?

Btw I am running a 2S with the MFC-02.

It's not a servo issue it's an ESC issue I think. I always have control of my servos.

Ok if I use a 7.2V pack it never shuts off. If I try a different fully charged 2S pack it shuts off every time the motor is under extra stress. Why is it doing this?

sounds like the stress is putting the esc into thermal shutdown.
is your motor, esc or battery hot when this happens?
