Default Earth to receiver - electronics gurus please

What I am wanting to know is can I run an earth from the negative bat terminal on my ESC (fxr) to my receiver? The reason I ask is because the HV300 I run as servos are supposed to have the earth from both you receiver and your battery connected to the brown wire(neg) not just the battery neg. For wiring neatness sake this is a bit of a bother and I was wondering would there be any detrimental effects of simply connecting the neg from the battery to the receiver through a spare port? (6ch receiver I got plenty). Technically when you connect the bat earth and receiver earth together it is the same thing, but I thought I would check? Not wanting any of my $$$ going up in smoke. My entire wiring diagram is below. It is for my berg(super) hence the 2 servos.

Thanks for you help

Aussie Nerd you got some serious Paint skills man. That freehand text is killer. You know there is a text box function in Paint!

Kieren...thanks for the drawing. That is far superior to the one I use.

T36 would you like to run 12.6v through your receiver Thanks alex but that is a pretty dodgy drawing No worries KC, just remember this only 'works' if your using 3s or 2s rated servos, you need to add a bec if you want anything lower running to your servos.

Since when you join the bat neg and the bec(receiver) neg together anyway I think I'll just go ahead with this. Now back to work on the berg. Thanks anyway Neg is 0v so nothing better go boom

Cheers

If you are trying to run the batteries off the full pack voltage, it would be best if you just ran both negative and positive to the servo direct from the pack. Going through the RX with the negative will limit your amp draw severely and possibly cause glitching.

Thanks always good to have a qualified opinion, I'm just going to wire them straight to the battery only signal to the receiver. Thanks to everyone for your help
