Default Water proffing a battery

how would i waterproof a 6cell 7.2 volt battery?

Step 1 Put it in your rig.
Step 2 Plug it in and turn your radio on.
Step 3 Begin to drive it towards water.
Step 4 Drive it as fast as you can through water, stop in the deepest spot.
Step 5 Drive vigorously

In all seriousness a ballon with a cable tie seems to work well however, other have tried anything from Plastic Grip to silicone.

I have a couple of Lipos that I'm considering trying to make waterproof. They are already in a hard case so I'm thinking of just use Plastic Grip all around the case.

Going to do a little more research before I do anything though.

I double ballooned my lipo and have completly submerged it. works great

I have never had any issues submerging my old NiMH packs without any mods to them.

Yeah but don't NiMH packs already come pretty water tight?

I have driven lipo, nimh and nicad packs in water without ever doing anything to them and have never had an issue.

x2. I've dipped mine a few times in my bronco aka yellow submarine.

turnigy 2200 mah soft case... I've also done it with my thunder 1350 prolite.

I also have photos of deeper.
