Default Sidewinder issues

I picked up a Sidewinder from a member off here and its giving me some trouble so I was hoping someone might have an answer for me.

I plug the battery, motor into the esc. then follow instructions for programming the ESC.

It goes through all the sounds and everything no problem.

When I give it throttle after programming is complete it gives a little buzz like its sending power to the motor, but only for a second.

Same for reverse, just a quick buzz and its done.

The motors are fine because they work on my other ESC's, but I get nothing from this one.

Any thoughts???

Thanks in advance,
Thomas

DOH!!!

The person I got it from had it in brushed (which he told me) and I was using brushless.

Had to manually program it.

Works perfect now!
