servo winch on a 3 way switch??

I have built a servo winch using the tech on this site but i was wondering if it is at all posible to put it on a 3 way toggle switch? I am wanting to put it on my trailer and I only have a 2 position switch on my radio so i thought instead of trying to get it to work with my radio i could just install a 3 way togle on it but i have no idea if it will work or not. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am not against hooking it to the radio if anyone has an idea on how to do it without buying a new radio. My radio is a dx3s.
