I ordered one today. Will be here in one week. After talking to them(speed passion) you can run it on a 3 cell LIPO. They said to run it 2-3 minutes and check to make sure it not hotter then 80 degrees. I'm going to install it in my honcho. I read somewhere in a post that a guy had one and really likes it. I just wanted more wheel speed in my crawler. I will post latter to see how hot it get when I run it. Most my crawlers are geared low. They said not to over gear it!

it looks to be decent but that motor is goin to be slow its only 1000kv which is 12600rpm on 3s lipo, the novak crawler 21.5 with the 14mm rotor is faster than it and its fairly slow. i ran a normal 21.5t with 1800kv on 3s and it was ok (22680rpm) but now i went to a novak 18.5t silver can crawler motor rated at 2700kv and it has good torque and plenty of wheel speed on 3s so it does 34000rpm

I found a few issues that we are working on.

The motors is a 30 brushless so it was a bit slow for me. Also the esc is rated at 2c.

Once a faster motor and 3c lipo. This combo will be a great buy.

I really love their line of Cirtix motors for non crawlin applications, I have their 4000kv Cirtix in my Slash. So I'm hoping this combo will be good as well.

Is there any update to this Combo, does anyone have any opinion on it? I can get this Combo local for 70 bucks new. Its the Citrix Rhino Rock Crawler ESC and 1000kv motor sensored. Just curious if its worth the buy, since motors are usually 40+ just for a brushed motor. Figured it wasnt a bad purchase. Any help or opinions would be good. Thanks

There are a few places selling the older 1100kv motor too. I had posted in another thread where someone was asking if that was any good and I was wondering the same about this pack. Does it come with the sensor wire and all that? For $70 it's a pretty good deal. Would consider two for my XR10 that is sitting patiently on my shelf waiting to be assembled.

I ran across this motor esc combo for $70 also. What trucks or rigs are you guys running this setup in?
