Default Motor upgrade

I run my Berg on Novak 45T's off of dual Tekin FXR's. They are about 1 1/2 years old. I notice the holding power is not that great. I THINK they were better before but not sure.
Looking to upgrade to a stronger and faster motor for quick launches up ledges, as this is where my setup lacks. Should I look for handwound 45T's or 35T's? My rig is around 7.5lb, so that might be a factor. I want good bursts of power, but able to be controlled.

Thanks!!

4 magnet canned brood 35t. super smooth on the bottom end and plenty of rpm when you need it.

Most bergs run 35t, seems to be the popular choice....

If you have not rebuilt the motors in a 18 months, I am gonna guess that the brush is very short......when the brush gets short, your spring tension decreases......spring tension is a big factor in drag brake performance.

What is the breakdown of your lineup of different 35t's? Are the 5 segment arms available yet?

I see the R has a 7.5mm Comm and the R/T has a 10mm comm...What is the performance difference?

No 5 segment arms yet......I dunno if they will ever work really, but maybe one day I will get to try them again...

Difference in comm size basically alter powerband.....smaller comm=more rpm and power......big comm little less RPM and more torque.....its not a huge difference....

the 4 magnet cans provide more power and smoother start up, along with better low power resolution.....but less drag brake. 2 Magnet is more torque and drag brake, but more abrupt on the start up.

The Creep R/T is by far the most popular....
