| castle sidewinder "link" question
to program the sidewinder, do i need to have the esc plugged into a battery or not? not sure how.. got one in a trade

If memory serves me right yes the battey has to be pluged in or it says it not connected

No, the esc will get power from the USB. Done this many times, just.be sure to plug the cord on correctly and the esc switch is on.
