Default replacement Radio antenna for spectrum radio

My antenna on my spectrum radio has been abused enough to were the plastic antenna covering is gone and the actuall antenna is just danggling there and has even broke to were the truck can only dirve 10 feet away


this is for a SC truck and since i bought this radio for a crawler and is used more but the crawler guys this may be a better place to post this


basically i need to know where to buy a new antenna and i checked the spectrum website and didn't find much.

now does this have the wires to because the antenna wire is broke along with the plastic cover.

The coax pigtail will be a bit longer than the one on the stock antenna, and you might have to fart around a bit with the hole in the case that the antenna base plugs into, but it will work.

Be careful when you go to disconnect the old pigtail connector from the RF (radio frequency) board and when connecting the new one. MMCX connectors are not meant to be disconnected and reconnected repeatedly. They are fragile.

To me it they are the same thing, whats the difference from the digikey and horizon ones

The difference is in how they each mount to the radio cases. Look at the base detail for both parts and tell me that they aren't different.

The Nearson antenna snaps into a shaped hole in the transmitter case. The Horizon antenna slips over top of a stub molded into the case and is secured with a small screw.
