Default Burn up servo at 6V?

My castle link showed up last night, so tonight I went crazy and started playing with my BECs.
Took both up to 6V and wondered if anyone has had problem burning up servos or getting them hot running at 6V?
Both servos are direct powered from the BEC, so there should be no issues with burning up a receiver.
I am running S9157 Futaba servos.
I know some of the high voltage servos are designed to run at 7.4V but was wondering how high you can go before it lets the smoke out...

a buddy i run with has been running his receiver and servo strait from a little 800mah 2s with no voltage reduction, on a 6v rated servo. he's been running it for awhile now with no burnouts or even any hot running.
