Default Servo help

Ok i got a hust dig and been running an old full size servo from a Miss vagas boat i have.I got a Hitec hs 225 mg and installed it and be for i could set my epas it got hot and burned up .I have a servo strecher.Well tower ofered to re place it for free. How can i keep it from happening agin?I dont want to smoke a new one thanx .

Make sure to hook it up and turn everything on before you put the linkage on. That will make sure that it is centered when you start. Then adjust all of your epa's to like 30% and hook the linkage up. Fire everything up and adjust the epa's until the dig works but the servo isnt binding.
