Default DX3E astounding battery life

Last month I bought a used, much modified AX10 that came with a DX3E including Energizer alkaline batteries. I've taken that crawler out probably six times, more than an hour each time and the alkaline cells that came in the TX still work fine. The DX3E uses only four AA cells but they sure do "keep on going". Amazing!

I've got something over 20-30 hours on my current set of batteries and still running strong, so no complaints here

In my experience though, tx batteries should last a pretty long time. I still carry a spare set with me whenever i go out tho.
