Fantom doesn't do web forums very much, they never have....you may try emailing them....

The 32t or the 28t on 3s would make for some fun in a berg! Wonder how smooth they are and what the torque is like.

I have an Epic based motor (same endbell) and to be brief, imagine a softer hitting version of your current motor. Like a smooth transition instead of a slam when you floor it. And not so much because that's what I noticed, but more so because that's what the oval brush is known to do. At least that's the what I recall reading about them.

I find my Holmes Epic based 35t motor to perform decently in the Losi. Not the most power, not the best kick in the pants, and not the smoothest, but it does stay cooler for longer periods of time.

Word. To add one more thing, it is clearly a better performing motor than the machine wound types, be it Novak, Integy, et al.
