| burned motor or ESC??? HELP PLEASE
I was running my wheely king in the water (waterproofed) and in some point it started to float, so the wheels were spinning almost free. then my truck started to run very slow, after that it didn't work anymore. I was only able to turn the wheels but no forward or backward. Is there a chance I burned the motor or esc up?. The esc and motor are the stock ones. Please help me. |

It sounds like you need to tear down the motor.....there might be something stuck in it that was floating in the water. Get some cleaner and spray everything down when you have it apart.

Esc got wet. It's a gonner. Take the esc out of the truck and smell it. Is it stanky? If yes, it's toast. I know you said you waterproofed it, but Ill bet money water still got in whatever you did... If by chance it's not that, investigate the motor. Look at the brushes, solder joints, smell it... Those stock wheely king motors have a built in fan for cooling and i can imagine also that would increase the chance of debree as JeremyH stated.

Hook a batttery directly to the motor leads and see if it runs.

Good news, the ESC is fine so my waterproofing was done well. However, I don't know how I was able to burn up the motor. Any ideas how did the motor get burn?
