Default lipo vs Nihm c rating amp draw

ok guys set me straight. a 1500mah 7c 6cell Nihm stick pack vs a 1500mah 2s 15c continuous lipo. in theory the lipo Will be able to support higher amp draw than the Nihm. if that is true why does the lipo come with tiny wires that couldn't possibly handle the amps that the battery could?

Maybe the wires on your NiMH pack are overkill....

well the reason i'm askin is because i wanna try a pair of the above lipo's in my old emaxx. when i originally bought theemaxx from tower it came with the above Nihm's. i'm kinda afraid that the wires on the lipo's are gonna melt down. obviously i'll just have to keep a close eye on it. i just find it odd that the lipo came with wires almost half the gauge of a standard stick pack. the math says that the above lipo's would work in the emaxx. i bought the lipo's for my Lcc but i just wanna see how they do in the emaxx. now all this being said i know it Will only have about an 8 min run time just like the Nihms. i know that this is a crawler forum but our electrical section is prob the best i've seen and that's why i ask here instead of some were else

I wouldn't be running 15c 1500mah lipos in your emaxx anyway you look at it. You'll balloon (swell/heat up) those packs after one or two runs. Unless you don't hammer down. Heavy truck, high draw.

ok definitely don't wanna pop them, they are for my lcc. so what would you recommend for a c rating in a 3-4k mah pack for brushed twin titan emaxx then. also what is the max temp i should let the lipo's get during a run?

Nimh batteries dont have C ratings. That is a lipo term. I wouldn't run anything less than about a 4000mah 25+ C pair of packs in that. But you need an ESC with a LVC(Low Voltage Cutoff), or you will ruin the packs. They cant go below 3v per cell.
