| ESC and CC BEC issue
alright....I have to make sure one thing. Do i need to pull out the red wire from CC BEC or from ESC? I got a sidewinder with BEC on it, but if I pull out the red wire from sidewinder, then it won't work when I turn on the power. However, if I put that red wire back, the pull out the red wire from CC BEC, then it works!! that is weird, right? According to this diagram it should pull out the red wire from ESC, not from the CC BEC. By the way, for my FXR, I just pull out the red wire from ESC, and it works... so, I don't know what's wrong with that sidewinder anyone got this problem before? well, I felt that the FXR ESC is getting hot when I ran my scaler for 15 mins....is it a normal problem? thanks D |

you get direct voltage to the servo and the signal comes from the Rx |

| Correct and your rx wont see the amp draw from the servo, this has worked for me for a couple years and my new berg is wired this way also.. Also rather than cutting up your servo wire use a 3" extention, take the signal wire from the ext and run it to the rest of the plug plugs into the bec, the other end plugs into the servo.. I hope that makes since....

Plus you can leave your FXR BEC plugged in so it will power your receiver. The diagram up there gives you more power to your servo since it is direct from the ex-BEC and doesn't have to power the receiver also. |

but I have to take servo's red and black wire to joint the BEC's red and black wire, and plug servo's yellow wire to receiver, right? and just leave BEC's yellow wire away? Am I right? well, could you post some pics then I can see it and understand what you meant? Thanks Quote:
If I want to use the RC4WD lights system, what should I do for it because the diagram shows that power is not go through the receiver. so, can you tell me what I need to do for this problem? Thanks Quote:

What kind of power supply does the rc4wd system use? If its 6 volts just plug a y harnes into the out put wire from the bec witch will allow you to have one end going to servo and the other going to the lights..... | |

You will have power to your receiver from the ESC's internal BEC, otherwise your receiver wouldn't work, and you can just plug the light system right into the batt or aux port. Look at it like this: FXR gives power to the receiver and the CCBEC gives power directly to your servo from your battery, whereas normally your FXR or CCBEC would power the receiver AND servo all through the receiver. |
