Default Cc bec vs steering issues?

i need some help here as i am now on servo #2 because of this thing!!

when i am on the throttle.....no steer
when i let off the throttle....i have steer
when i am on the throttle the servo jitters/jumps around??

what is this all about?

i have the powersource correct (+)/(-)
and i have the power to the servo direct using the x2 wires off the BEC

and i have just the signal wire from the servo to the Rx

HeLp!!

if i plug JUST the servo itself (NO BEC) into the Rx its all tickity boo.....?

Do you have the cc bec plugged into the rx? If so the servo may be drawing to many amps causing it to clitch.

What kind of radio?
It sounds to me like a receiver issue. Need more details though.
What trans and receiver, speed controller, etc..

If the servo is plugged in the receiver buy it self and ticky boo means it works fine, then the receiver is probally ok. That would eliminate the radio.

Did you wire your cc bec like this to your servo?

you have the yellow signal wire connected toward the center of the receiver right?
where do you have the -/+ side of the bec connected to?

Don't forget, you could have a bad bec........

If you have it connected as shown, I hate to say it but sounds like its bad, call castle (913) 390-6939 and ask them.
If you have a castle link check the voltage.

Yep, it sounds like you have a bad bec. Happened to me at a gtg so now I keep another wired and ready in my parts box. I use a micro deans plug on my power side to ease swapping on the rocks.

Call them up and they'll exchange it for you. Had mine in 1 week from calling

How is your reciever getting power?

now this is where im lost???

the red wire from the ESC is power....why its now cut? lol
so to my knowledge...the ground and signal are the only thing going to the Rx from the ESC now that i cut the red wire to it.

the BEC is direct powersource from the 7.2v cellpack and then fed into the servo (steering).
so again...to my knowledge its getting no power to the Rx??

Castle probally told you to remove the red wire from the esc, thinking you have the bec plugged into the reciever. Which I believe is not in your case.
If you have your esc plugged in with all the connectors to your reciever and the one end of the BEC with just the red and black connected to the battery and the other end of the BEC with the yellow capped off (not used) and the red and black connected to your steering servo and just the yellow(or orange)((signal)) from the servo connected to the steering plug on the reciever. If you have it connected as described and it still don't work, you have a bad BEC.

You could try running both the receiver and the servo off of the BEC and running the esc off itself. Just be sure to unplug the red wire from where the esc connects to the receiver. I had a problem similar to this when trying to run my bec directly to my hitec servo. Once I hooked it up like I described above, the problem was gone.
