Does any one know the input voltage to the traxxas light bar? I want to wire a battery to it instead of my reciever that way I can take the body off with out worries of the wire every time. Thanks.

I've powered it with a 9v battery and a 6v receiver battery with no problems.

I think it has resistors built in so you can run it off of 20v and it'll still work
