Default Rooster Crawler ESC In A Slash Truck

Anyone know if I am going to kill a Rooster Crawler ESC if I stick it in my sons slash? I want the lipo cuttoff indicator and this ESC is just laying around. Thanks for the feedback.

The drag brake and instant reverse might kill the slash, other than that it's what motor you run.

The stock motor is a Titan 12T, with is actually a 18T (ish), the lowest motor that is recommended for that ESC is 27T, so I'm betting you'll fry it.

From just about any way you look at it, that is a bad ESC for that truck.

If you do run it, let us know how it works, or how long it took to fry.

I agree that this is not the right application for this ESC but there is one positive I see to this, and here it is. I tried to sell this esc on craigslist and it would not sell. Soooo I have a lipo safe esc sitting here collecting dust or I use it for as long as it will last and see just how it holds up!!
