how do I hook this servo in my crawler?
I do drive with 2s lipo but my receiver only has 6volts..

can someone explane it to me?

can I just buy this without the need for some extra item to get it to work on 7.4 volts?

Someone else probably will do a more in depth answer because I don't have the time right now but,

You can run this servo at 6 volts from your esc. But you will only get the spec rating from the servo at that voltage.

Best option is to get a Castle BEC and search the forum on how to install one properly.

But regardless, you will really want that bec. it is better for your whole electronics system

You would need to wire an external BEC directly to the servo...and set the BEC at 7.4V

i have the ccbec ( still not used ) but how can I get this bec to give me 7.4 volts?
Default setting: 5.1 volts. User selectable in 1/10th volt increments between 4.8 and 9 volts
I do have the field programcard to program my MMP speedo
and how about my receiver? he still needs 6 volts right? couse I have winch + LED system on my receiver

The CC BEC comes preset at 5.1V. You need a Castle Link to change that setting via your computer.

so with the ccbec im good to go with this servo?
I only need to find out how to wire things up?

but how about this:
full lipo is 8.4
empty lipo is 6.8

so my servo will suffer from this right?

and the BEC output? will it stay as programmed? als when lipo is almost empty?

yes, I have the same servo, lots of power. I wired up my bec direct to servo works better imo...

great great. If I may ask can you explaine here your wire diagram? that would help me a great deal

but then again? why the need for a BEC because the output of the BEC can never exceed the input so my servo will be less strong with a almost empty lipo opposite to a full lipo

So when I hook up my system up like the picture here above. How do I hook up my 7.4 volts servo correctly?
( I have a rooster crawler, CCBEC , 45T, 7.4V servo, 2s lipo)

god I feel such a noob
