Really there is no cheap good brushless system. There are a couple of systems out there that are sub $100 but those systems are not sensored so unless you run some crazy gearing you are going to have a ton of cogging. With brushless systems, you really do get what you pay for. |

I have tried the hobbywing crawler system it is very fair priced comes with programing card. Must use 3s for any proformance. It is 1200kv. Cogging was not bad. If you run say Goats run 18.5 on 2s more run time less heat than 3s on 21.5. Testing was done on LCC.

XeRun Esc is fantastic and reasonably priced. It's THAT good it replaced Mamba Max Pro's in all my off-roaders. Only downside i've found are the XeRun motors. Any Brushless sensored motor will work fine though, so my advice would be the XeRun 120a Esc and what ever these guys recommend is a good motor |

Might help if you define your budget more? Like others have said brushless sensored does cost more then brushed systems. I got a goat 3s with 18.5 ballistic & bec and thought that was cheap? |
