Default Will an XL5 Run Dual Motor?

Im wondering if the XL-5 ESC or Axial AE-1 can run dual 45t motors. IF so what is the proper way to set it up?

they both have a 15t motor rateing....

Yes both of them can run daul motors. The can both ran to 30t motors at max, but the axial esc can do it at 12 volts and the traxxas esc can do it at 9.6. I hope that helps.

It really depends on application. The XL-5 should be able to handle two motors, but what I are you putting this in? The XL-5 is a poor choice for a crawler, it doesn't handle low speed applications very well, it has no drag brake, and the double-clutch reverse will bite you in the butt...
