| FUTABA 4PL radio vs. DX3R
I got dx3r and wondering if this radio is overall better than DX3R?

The 4 pl is a better value. I think the two radios are comparable if you only need 3 channels, The 4pl has a few more advantages, also the 4pl is only $250 the dx3r is $350 and one less channel. I'll be getting a 4pl as soon as i can. I've owned 3 dx3rs and loved them all, but the 4pl with all the mixing and such makes it a better radio for me. |

But yeah the 4pl will have the 4th channel and more radio options. So i would lean towards the 4pl. | |

All depends also on what you are gonna run and what is in your budget. I think the dx3r is a great remote has alot of options and features by far the lightest remote out that I know of and the price is pretty fair and comes with a reciver also. But the more competitive I get into this hobby by next year or late 2011 I will be swapping to a futaba remote and dbl esc's. Just wait fir the release of the new big daddy futaba. |
