Default Castle Link pkg says Brushless, use w BRXL?

I found a used HH Torquemaster BRXL, good. LHS has a Castle Link but the package says it's for brushless ESCs, not so good.

Is this the Castle Link that is used with the Torquemaster brushed ESC?

Another question, does the Torquemaster read 2S or 3S, etc or does it have to be programmed for the number of Lipo cells?

Looking at the TM instructions I'm not clear on how to advance through the programming options using the TX, using the Castle Link to see the options and settings on the PC should make life easier.

In the mean time, any idea on how to move from one programming step to the next using the transmitter?

Thanks

The castle link can be used with almost any castle product as well as the HH ESCs. You can set the HH TQ to be auto lipo, then, when you plug it in, it will beep the number of cells that it recognizes...

That is exactly what I needed to know, the Castle Link will work with the brush ESC even though it says brushless on the package. I'll get the CL tomorrow. Tonight I downloaded the software for it.

Auto Lipo is a very good feature, I wasn't able to figure that out from the instructions.

Thanks

Yep, I use the CL on a large variety of products including my multiple HH TQs...

Programming via the Castle Link is MUCH easier than the manual method. I will NEVER go back...
