Default One more DX7 question

Just read all the posts on DX6 and DX7 and want to confirm what I've done is correct.

Crawler - Hustler chassis with clodbuster, 2 esc, 2 motors, DX7 and 6-channel receiver.

DX7 - modified for throttle (left) stick to return to center.

Receiver - (a) front servo plugged into rudd channel for front steering; (b) rear servo plugged into ail channel for rear steering; (c) front esc plugged into throttle channel; and (d) rear esc plugged into elev channel.

As configured, I can turn both front and rear wheels and run the front wheel with only the front esc on. I need to turn on the rear esc to run the rear wheels.

Can I run the crawler as it or do I need mixing, etc.

Thanks,
