Default 7980 any good for a 8lb rig?

So my servo took a really big dump on me and i was thinking of getting a 7980.I was also looking at a jr 8711 or futuba s5197 cuz there a lil.cheaper.So what i want to know will those two cheaper servos be enough for my bully rig? Thanks lmk.

You need to cut some weight... at least a 1lb.. My Super Bully doesn't even weigh 8lbs RTR.... I run 7980's front and rear on it and it works fine. So should work fine on yours as well. But a 8lbs 2.2 Comp Rig is to much.

I run the 7980 on my bully and just love it!!! I won't be going back to a smaller servo anytime soon.... I have pulled my rig up ledges with just the servo power...it's awesome!
