| Where to buy DX6i parts?
Hi guys, I'm trying to avoid sending in my Tx, I want to use it all winter long. The scroll switch is all messed up on my Tx, the small molded hex broke off. I was able to use a small allen wrench to do a temp fix but it doesn't work as well as it used to. Does anyone know where to find this part or does anyone have a good used part that they would want to sell? Thanks for any help. |

call horizon hobby or e-mail customer service. They can send you what you need . they replaced my trim tab at No Charge . do you this for your crawler ?? My DX61 is for air planes and heli's . does it work ok for a crawler tranmitter too ??

Yes. You can rig the dx6i to run the crawler. However, it will mess up the throttle stick for air unless you program the left stick so that rudder becomes "throttle" for crawling. A member here done that so you may want to PM him. Horizon will charge you $40 to mod the tx, excluding shipping. I mod my spare DX7 to craw by using the "toggle" and "spring" from an old 72 mhz tx. |

| Quote: T/C Hunter- I use the DX6i for my crawler and scalers. I made my own 'mod' for the left joy stick- I simply opened the Tx case and rotated the joystick assembly 90*. I don't fly any RC's so it doesn't effect me that the rudder and throttle are reversed. The radio works great for me, I could never gets used to a pistol grip radio. The extra channels are great for the scalers as is the multi-vehicle memory. | |
