Default Savox Max Voltage ?

Hi guys

Can anyone help me out ?.....im running a Savox 1256 through a CC BEC set @ 6volts but its not as strong as i would like.

Does anyone know if these can take more voltage ?....only info i could find was the readings @ 4.8 and 6.0v

Cheers MUD

I ran this servo on my XR10 at 6v and didn't have any trouble with it, unless you got wedged down in a crack or something. Myself, I wouldn't try running it at more than 6. Savox has some new high voltage servos now that can handle 7.4v.

You could try and bump up the voltage if you want more power, but you must understand you run the risk of frying your servo... you can pay attention to the temps but there is no telling if/when the servo will grenade.

Servo's are rated at nominal voltage. What is the actual charged voltage on a 7.4v pack? 8.4v. What's the actual charged voltage on a .0v pack? 7.2-7.6v.

Go ahead and bump it up to 6.8v. It's not as strong a servo as the Hitec 7955 or the Futaba 9157 but it's still a great servo.

let us know.
I think you will shorten the lifespan of the servo when you bump up the volts a little bit

From what I understand, not running enough voltage can burn a servo up. If you go over the max voltage.....you'll just fry it..

I have a Savox 1268 and have been running 7.2 volts to it with no problem. My pack is a 7 cell 8.4 nimh pack, so I run a CC BEC.
